Social Studies closed out the month completing their learning about the birth of our nation and Colonial America. After recess they will begin to learn about the Revolution!

In math students recently completed a unit on  percents. They learned how to solve problems involving percent change, discounts, markups, and other related applications. They enjoyed an activity using online restaurant menus to create their own receipts and calculate tips. Try asking them to calculate the tips if you are ever going out to eat!

Science wrapped up their study of cells and completed the NYS mandated lab, "It's Alive!"

Team Inspire has gotten halfway through our book clubs while working on our writing skills. We've been using our argument writing skills to support some debating, and I can't what to dive into some group reads and literary analysis after the break!
