Welcome To Team Curiosity!

SEL and Ancient History

Students on Team Curiosity were treated to a Zoom lecture presented by Egyptologist, Dr. Alexandra Morris from Queens University, Belfast, Ireland. Students learned about evidence of disability and how physical disabilities have been portrayed through art over the course of history. Through Dr. Morris’s study of King Tut’s mummy and his grave goods, students learned that King Tut likely had several physical disabilities which impacted his mobility, but not his fame.

Math Students Follow Their Curiosity!

Team Curiosity's students explored topics they were passionate about, diving into important historical moments connected to their interests. Each student picked a meaningful event as the starting point—calling it zero—and then used what they knew about integers to create timelines that mapped out the journey from there.
