Updates:

As we approach the middle of the 1st trimester, we have begun some deep work in many areas.

 Students have participated in learning about digital citizenship.  We created PSAs about being responsible digital consumers and producers.  Book clubs are in full swing with a particular focus on character in a shared novel.

 Students researched a topic of interest and created a timeline of their information.  This was used to demonstrate their learning regarding integers with whole and rational numbers.

 Our young scientists worked to develop a hypothesis about how hot air balloons float in the air.  This is leading to a study of density with regards to regular and irregular objects, liquids and gases.
