DIRECTIONS TO ACCESS CLUBS
STEP 1: Log into Schoology
STEP 2: Click on "Groups" (next to "Courses)
STEP 3: Click "My Groups" (small tab in right corner, below your profile name)
STEP 4: Click "Join Group" (on right hand side below 'Manage Groups")
STEP 5: Type in the Access Code for the club you want to join. Click on "Read More" in the club text box below to view Access Code.
STEP 6: Your new club group will appear under "My Groups".
If you have any trouble, please email the club advisor to be added to the group.
You may sign up for as many clubs as you'd like!! Have fun!

GEOGRAPHY BEE
The Geography Bee Club is an opportunity to study for the 20-21 Geography Bee. We will have weekly meeting that will include fun practice games, some sample questions,. and have a ton of fun! This club will meet weekly on Wednesday's. Meetings will be held from 3:30-4:30 pm.

THE PEN
The Pen is John Jay Middle School’s literary magazine. It is published yearly and is a collection of short stories, poems, essays, opinion pieces, and artwork. The entries may evolve from class assignments or may be self-motivated pieces. Every student at the middle school is invited to join and/or contribute. We are looking for writers, artists, and editors……or anyone who just wants to explore their creative side! Come join us!

PURPLE PRESS (SCHOOL NEWSPAPER)
Please join us as we gear up for another year of writing fun with the Purple Press! We will continue our coverage of JJMS news, opinion, sports and much, much more! Get your voices heard and capture your audience's attention by joining the school newspaper this year. SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
New York State Science Olympiad is an opportunity for students to be part of a team representing their school and showcase their scientific knowledge. Students will compete remotely against other middle schools in the Lower Hudson Valley in the areas of Life Science, Earth Science, Space Science, Chemistry and the Physical Sciences. Participants will work remotely to problem solve, analyze, and apply their scientific knowledge at a competition held on the first Saturday of March 2021. Prizes for top finishers are awarded. Team size is limited, so don't miss out a chance to be a part of it!
