Congratulations to John Jay Robotics—it was awarded $8,000 from the Gene Haas Foundation.
"We’re incredibly grateful for this generous support,” said Jonathan Peter, robotics teacher at John Jay. “These funds will go directly toward parts and equipment to help our teams compete with at the highest level.”
In the past two years, John Jay’s robotics teams have represented the school at the World Championships and brought home New York State titles. “We’re excited for what’s ahead,” added Peter. “Next season is shaping up to be one of our best yet.”

Katonah-Lewisboro’s next Board of Education meeting is Thursday, June 5, in John Jay High School’s cafeteria. The evening features the recognition of tenure candidates, retirees and outgoing Board of Education trustees.
A reception will be held in the John Jay High School cafeteria at 5:30 p.m. for tenure recipients, retirees and their guests. The public session begins at 6:30 p.m.

Important information for rising 8th grade student athletes interested in trying out for a Varsity or JV sports team this fall. This opportunity is for students who have excelled in their sport and have an advanced skill set and maturity level. Students interested must complete all the attached requirements and successfully pass 4 out of the 5 fitness components to be eligible for tryouts.

Due to the forecasted rain, we will be postponing Field Day and moving it to the scheduled rain date of Friday, May 30th.
Tomorrow, Thursday, May 29th, will be a regular school day with a normal class schedule. Students do not need to wear their team color.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility, and we look forward to a fun and sunny Field Day on the 30th!
